Currently although the voters have passed legal marijuana it still has to be approved by congress, and it likely will. Then, legal shops are still a far sight away, so you will have to obtain marijuana on the streets. DC is a college town- American, Catholic, GW, Georgetown, UMD, GMU, SEU, Howard, and others. Weed is everywhere. If you’d have trouble fitting in with the college crowd, asking around at the local dive bar in your neighborhood is a good place to start. Stay out of known “drug areas,” as they are likely to be targeted by the narcs. Please let us know in the comments if you have any information for obtaining marijuana in D.C. The cops in DC have “real crime” to worry about. Narcotics enforcement tends to focus on crack, heroin, and the like rather than the sweet tasty herb. Most people that get busted in DC are involved in transactions on the street. Keep it out of sight, and you’ll be fine.
